Physical, Mental & Emotional Detoxification: Hypnotherapy plays an active role in all three

Posted by:

Although I may not have previously referred to hypnotherapy as “emotional detoxification” of the subconscious mind, this is actually the best description of its effects when undertaken by a skilled and well-trained clinical hypnotherapist.  Working from my Ottawa clinical hypnotherapy treatment office, I assist clients to detoxify from any of a whole range of negative and unproductive emotions, beliefs and harmful thought patterns.  Once freed of negative energies, a client is left with a sense of safety, restoration, control and emotional vibrancy.

Hypnotherapy for effective emotional detoxification and metabolic harmony!

Mindfulness of one’s thoughts with the goal of changing unhelpful thinking patterns is typically referred to as Mental detoxification.  I guide hypnotherapy clients to not only work with the subconscious mind to empty it of negative and unproductive beliefs (emotional detoxification), but also to correct unhelpful neural programming (trigger/response pathways).  This I accomplish by embedding, at the subconscious level, a specific trigger word or phrase that will cause the brain to release calming hormones instead of cortisol (the fight-or-flight hormone).  Thus, a person can calm down, even in stressful situations, consider their circumstances objectively and develop new, more rewarding reactions to old triggers.

Physical detoxification of the body involves the opening of the organs of elimination and the rebalancing of the main operational systems of the physical body.  I often refer to my friend and colleague, Joyce Friesen’s simple formula: Nourish + Cleanse = Balance. Joyce Friesen is a Integral Living Coach who supports people to recover and optimize their health with whole, life-giving foods. While I provide important nutritional information on a case-by-case basis as part of my hypnotherapy treatments and discontinuation of medication efforts, Joyce is always ready to give the detailed, case-specific advice and guidance on nutrition, label reading, GMOs, shopping tips and so on.  Contact Joyce Friesen at joycefriesen@novalisintegra.com or call 613-841-3205.

Physical symptoms are often the result of prolonged mental and emotional stress, conventionally referred to as ‘mental illness’. A great example is IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome).  It is marked by cramping, chronic diarrhea and/or constipation and eventually extreme abdominal pain for which doctors can find no pathology.  Despite much research proving that pharmaceutical drugs make symptoms of IBS worse and psychological treatments for digestive disturbances are practically useless, conventional doctors still prescribe useless and often damaging drugs for Irritable Bowel Syndrome.   My hypnotherapy treatment for Irritable Bowel Syndrome has proven extremely successful in permanently resolving all symptoms of correctly diagnosed IBS.

As a Clinical Hypnotherapist, with specialty training in hypnotherapy treatment of IBS, I am typically able to assist clients to resolve the underlying deep-seated anxiety, leaving them with a calm, peaceful state.  It seems once the body becomes cortisol-free and the person, calm and peaceful, all metabolic processes start to work harmoniously.  If the anxiety and root issues have been chronic and persistent, often I will refer clients to Dr. Vladimir Topalo, a brilliant medical doctor who specializes in naturopathy and diagnoses with risk-free, radiation-free iridology.  His remedies are custom-made, and from my personal experience and those relayed by happy clients, I can attest to their efficiency and effectiveness.
